Logo Breakdown

DK Designs is a disc golf course design business headed up by Dustin Keegan. Dustin has been a professional disc golfer since 2010 and he’s now using his experience to create courses for this ever-growing sport.

Dustin wanted to create a logo that would be recognizable and also relate to the sport of disc golf. Dustin’s nickname in disc golf has been “DK” so using that as a basis for his course design business made sense.

Connecting the D and K together for this logo makes a recognizable mark, it reads as “DK” and when you rotate it so that the arms of the K are pointing down it looks like a disc golf basket.

I love finding ways to make logos have little easter eggs that people discover.
